Oct 31st is a big day for Christians - it's the day of Reformation!About 500 years ago, Martin Luther famously nailed his "95 Theses" to the door of the Wittenberg church, protesting the unbiblical teaching and practices of Roman Catholicism.  He, and many others, boldly took a stand against the dominating religious teachings of his day, calling on them to return to God's Word as the sole authority defining salvation, church function, and Chrisian living.Today, we celebrate the existence of Protestantism and the freedom of Christianity from the corrupted grip of Roman Catholicism.  But, the reforming is never complete. We must study the Word for ourselves and have the boldness and courage of the early reformers to stand against unbiblical church teachings and practices today; compelling them as well to return to the authority of Scripture in all matters of salvation, church operations, and Christian living.
