Donna Thompson is a believer in Jesus Christ, a daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Her friends and family also call her Dee. 
For the past 6 years she has worked at a Sexual Violence Resource, Child Advocacy, and Teen Pregnancy Prevention Center as an Advocate and MDT Coordinator. Prior to her current position, she was employed for 9 years at a domestic violence and sexual violence coalition, working as the Training Coordinator for the last four of those years.
She believes in the value of community, authentic sisterhood, and connecting and cultivating relationships with other women of faith so that they can change the intentional and divisive narrative women can’t get along. She recently started a podcast called Sisters Doing Life Together to give women, who may never be known by many but certainly known by God, a platform to encourage other women by sharing their personal stories of faith and their love for Christ.
Her belief is that we thrive best in our relationship with Christ and each other in community and “when you belong to a sisterhood, you never have to do life by yourself.”
