Episode Synopsis

This week I welcome two guests to the podcast. They are the Co-founders of Tech Start up Prsnt, Omid Moallemi and David Parr, who have recently appeared in Forbes magazine and were finalist in the FSB Awards for best Start Up. Prsnt has built partnerships with more than 100 household brands – everyone from Starbucks to Marks & Spencer. If you want to send someone a present from one of those brands, you open the Prsnt app, choose your gift and press send. The recipient receives the gift instantly, in the form of a QR code they can cash in to get the gift, either online or in person. It might be anything from a cup of coffee to a new t-shirt. This brilliant episode delves deep into the founders 'Why' behind launching the app and the true power of emotional value (EV). We discuss how they truly believe that people are more altruistic and kind, and they are on a mission to change the social fabric of how people gift in the future. As a tech start up they share some valuable insights into the funding process and some of the challenges and pitfalls along the way, as well as what success looks like for them. These two creative minds, in my opinion have created an incredible app and business, and are certainly on track to Change the world, one gift at a time..
