We start, as always, with the Dewing Grain market report for week commencing 9th March 2020.In Farmchat Andrew catches up with Caroline Drummond, Chief Executive of LEAF - Linking Environment and Farming - fresh from the Holkham Farming Conference. LEAF have various initiatives to include farming in the curriculum, working directly with teachers and through Farmer Time, whereby farmers use FaceTime or Skype to chat directly with schoolchildren and bring farming into different parts of the curriculum.The discussion moves on to the value of carbon and the emerging markets, being part of the health agenda, the Food Strategy (the first for 75 years) and how farmers are expected to deliver more for the same price.
