What is your current perspective about money? In terms of dealing with our finances, it is vital for us to see it in a biblical perspective as we do not want to serve money rather than God unintentionally.In Matthew 6:24, Jesus said, "No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money."Of all the things, Jesus considered money to be God's rival. Why? Because money has the characteristics of a deity — it can give security, induce guilt, give freedom, give power, appear omnipresent, and bid omnipotence. However, money will never satisfy us. God alone can bring satisfaction to our lives.
