Listen "An Axe to Grind"
Episode Synopsis
Send us a textThis is episode 15. The summer heat had me thinking about a trip my wife and I took to Alaska’s Kenai Peninsula last summer. One memorable part was a kayak trip in Moose Pass, where there is a water wheel with a grindstone and a sign that reads, “Moose Pass is a peaceful little town, if you have an axe to grind, do it here.”I explore how it now appears that society expects us to no longer respect those who disagree with us. What is the impact of this? What can we do? Perhaps more importantly, what should we do?Here is a link to a YouTube video about Moose Pass.Moose Pass: Where the Alaskan Pioneering Spirit Lives On, uploaded by Bjørn Olson on November 22, 2022https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYyvTeWmIyILet’s continue the conversation!https://www.linkedin.com/in/scot-storeyhttps://www.facebook.com/Scot.Storey.Leadership?mibextid=LQQJ4d
