TONIGHT WE WILL FEATURE A TROVE OF EVIDENCE FROM THIS LOCATIONOctagon Hall is widely regarded as one of the most haunted places in the South. Many of the stories of ghosts surrounding the property are associated with the Caldwell family, slaves, confederate, and union soldiers that stayed or lived or died there. It is documented that several soldiers from both sides, never physically left this property. It has been featured on A&E’s “My Ghost Stories” and “My Ghost Stories Caught on Cam”, the Travel Channel’s “Most Terrifying Places in America”, and The Dead Files. the Syfy Channel’s “Ghost Hunters”, “Wraith Chasers” and “Haunted Collector”, the History Channel, the Discovery Channel, the Destination America Channel, “Haunted Discoveries”, Nick Groff’s “Death Walker”, My Haunted Hometown”, KET, and CMT Channel. The Hall has been visited by over 1100 different Paranormal Teams. since opening in 2002, with many of them returning several times over the years.Following his passions in the all Paranormal fields for over 47 years, BARRY GAUNT currently serves as the Kentucky State Coordinator for Connecting Consciousness, and the Museum Director at Octagon Hall Museum, in Franklin KY. He is also the Managing Director of the NightStalkers Paranormal Research Team and an Ordained Minister who offers Spiritual Warfare, Spiritual Counseling, and Spiritual Cleansing, along with counseling E.T. Abductees, Mk Ultra, and back experiencers, and is a Certified Tier 5 Field Investigator / Trainer.Barry is known for his scientific “boots on the ground” investigative skills and style. He is a Paranormal Lecturer and has been featured on Radio, TV, Podcasts, Documentaries, Newspaper Articles, and Magazines. He is also a contributor to the books, “Willows Weep: The Beginning”, “Real West Virginia UFOs: Sightings and Close Encounters” by Author Dave Spinks, and “Historic Haunts of Sumner County, Tennessee” by Donna Lyn Hartley. Barry is currently writing two books which should be available in mid and late 2025 “Octagon Hall, The Plantation That Survived the Civil War, Its History and Haunts” and “The Bear Naked Truth.”
