David Hallam is an experienced interim communications and public affairs lead. He is a frequent contributor to various magazines and newspapers. He has published three books.David is a former Member of the European Parliament. He has led communications, policy teams, and consultation programmes, at such diverse organisations as the International Diabetes Federation and World Vision UK.He provides communications advice on an informal and freelance basis to several voluntary membership organisations and individuals. He is a trustee of his local church and a recognised local preacher. He is an honorary Vice President of the Severn Valley Railway (Holdings) plc, a Patron of the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery Trust, and a Life Member of the National Union of Journalists. He is an elected representative for the West Midlands on the National Members’ Council of the Co-op Group, the UK's largest ethical retailer.
