Essence Of Aura were formed in Coventry in the early 90's after Ian, Tim & James had come together at The Eclipse. They would later feature local MC Hi-Fi in their performances. One of the UK's first producers cutting up breaks & playing them at raves even before releasing vinyl, They performed at many raves between 1990 & 1995 including Amnesia House, Quest, The Eclipse/Edge, Fibre Optic, & Pandemonium, also being named as the Midlands No. 1 live PA by Pandemonium, as well as being named as one of the most important Jungle artists of 1994. They disbanded in 1996.
I have taken all of their tracks, including those produced under alias Original Substitute as well as their remixes for Tango & Fallout.
