Listen "Measuring the Unobservable: An Interview with Psychometrician Dr. Cizek "
Episode Synopsis
Too often in education, emphasis is placed on the results of standardized tests without fully understanding the work that goes into creating those tests. This episode is the first of two where we interview Dr. Gregory Cizek, a psychometrician and distinguished professor emeritus at the University of North Carolina, to better understand the role psychometricians play in creating tests that can be used to measure what students know and are able to do. WCPSS staff can earn credit for listening to and reflecting on completed series. Learn more here.
