This month's playlist features various big and lesser-known R&B and rap artists. There isn't a particular theme that ties all the songs together as the themes range from love to ambition to simply recognizing the motives of those around you.

This playlist has Ex by Kiana Ledé [2018] and Damage by H.E.R [2018] which are softer love songs contrasted with Feel your love from SAYGRACE's 2015 EP Memo [formally Grace] and Indigo by 88rising & NIKI [2019] which both have a strong bassline and drums. Brett Gray is a newer artist and his single Old thing back which dropped in 2018 is about a past lover. Rose in Harlem by Teyana Taylor [2018] and No squares [2019] talk about the people in your life and their true motives; whether they seek to support you or bring you down and your own personal ambitions. I included GP4 [2020] by logic because it is in my opinion one of the best songs on his newest album No Pressure. Rumble by Goldlink has two very interesting features and one of two songs on this playlist that has a feature on it. This is my first dip into music that has a language other than English in it, with Jackson Wang rapping in Chinese. See you again is a song from one of Tyler, the Creator's most popular albums Flower Boy 2017 album and features Kali Uchis, whose new Spanish album is becoming increasingly popular.
