Jadon discusses Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and his work as a therapist for individuals with autism. We discuss how Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) can be utilized within the scope of ABA, and the concomitant ethical challenges of home-based ABA therapy. Lastly, Jadon talks about the challenges of when a parent's goals for their children (the client) misalign with the goals of the therapist for the patient, and how independence is to be strived for.
