Its a beautiful Friday!
We're winning! winning!! winning!!!
Psalm 74:20 
Lord remember your covenant promises to us...why? For the land is full of darkness and violence.
So in the midst of the darkness and the violence in the land, we can be sure that God will keep us as we stay focused and live out His covenant promises. God is committed to His word and He watches over His word to perform it in our lives.
No matter the danger around no matter how dark or great the threat of violence is, we can still trust in God. 
John 2:1-5
Jesus and His disciples had been invited to a wedding party (today is Friday!) then suddenly they ran out of wine...right in the middle of the party. Things were beginning to look shameful and embarrassing. It looked dark and fearful.
vs 5 But His mother said to the servants...whatever He tells you to do, do it. 
vs 11 So in Cana of Galilee, Jesus did His first miracle. He showed His glory and His followers believed in Him.
The first miracle of Jesus was a miracle of provision. In the midst of lack in this lovely weekend party that was turning sour. Jesus showed His power and His grace by providing not something spiritual but something material.
Your situation might be looking bleak. You may be uncertain about how things will be this weekend. You may be unsure how this second half of the year is going to turn out to be. God wants you to understand that He cares for you even for your material needs.
In a party! His first miracle was in a wedding party! He provided wine for them...in a wedding party!
What was the key? Whatsoever He tells you to do, do it.
Understand that God is not just interested in your spiritual and emotional needs.
He is also interested in your material needs. He is interested in you being satisfied.
His question to you is this: Are you willing to do whatever He tells you to do?
If you do it, God's glory will be manifested in your life.
