Listen "Power of The Promises Pt 6"
Episode Synopsis
Hello and a wonderful Monday morning to you in the name of Jesus!
We’ve been talking about divinity, understanding that God wants us to share in His divine nature. He wants us to partake of His divine nature. But the truth is this: if we’re going to experience the reality of His promises, we must live them out.
2Corinthians1:20 NLT
“For all of God’s promises have been fulfilled in Christ with a resounding “Yes!” And through Christ, our “Amen” (which means “Yes”) ascends to God for his glory.”
So all these promises we’ve been talking about and sharing, this verse says everything has found fulfilment in Christ. What God has settled in heaven (Psalms 119:89) has been been fulfilled in Christ. What we’re now saying is “let it be settled in our lives; let it find expression and manifestation in our lives”.
Kenneth Hagin - a wonderful Faith preacher and teacher, says they’re actually not promises because they’re not going to be fulfilled but rather they are statement of fact. I call them reality. He is telling us to reach out for the reality that has been settled in Christ Jesus. How do we make these promises real in our lives? By acting them out. We activate our divine nature as we act out these promises. In our humanity, the way we see divinity come to life, practically in our lives is by acting out on the word of God.
I pray in the name of Jesus that this will be a new season of stepping out on those promises that have been fulfilled. It will be a new time of acting out on God’s word and as you do it, may you see the practical proof and evidence of your divinity in your daily life in Jesus Name.
God bless you and have a wonderful work week!
