2 Pet 1:4 And because of His glory and excellence, He has given us great and precious promises. These promises enable us to share in His divine nature. The promise of God is the platform that connects us to the divine life.
The promises of God are wrapped in His Word. His word and promises are the same.
Jesus said in John 6:63...the words that I speak unto you are Spirit and Life. That's why the promises of God are powerful. They are spiritual and carry life.
Your words are like soldiers under you...you can send them to work on your behalf.
