Today I saw a whale with a reminder of the Great American classic of Moby Dick. The author of this great book died without knowing that it would one day be a classic. At the time of his death it had received mixed reviews and was even out of print. Jesus has received mixed reviews following His death on the cross and is slowly being understood and received as mankind's awesome saviour. God is "patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance" (2 Peter 3:9). Repentance is what one does, not punishment towards us as some would believe. When we repent we change the direction of our lives. God wants us to receive Him in free will so we can go with Him into eternity.
