Do we really believe and feel that we are betrothed to Jesus? We, as part of the church, the Body of Christ, are described as His Bride and He as our Bridegroom. Jesus is coming back to collect us as His. In the meantime, let us hold on to the excitement that He loves us and wants to look after us right now and be with us for ever. It is not a weak place to be looked after. We are strong and fearless when we feel loved and nurtured. We can do great exploits with our partner Jesus. "The Spirit and the bride say, 'Come!' Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life" (Revelation 22:17)
