Dear Heavenly Father, I pray for a revival in all the hearts of your children. I pray for those who have denounced you to come to you this new year. I pray for broken hearts to be mended. I pray for the lost to be found. I pray for infidelity to experience fidelity. I pray for the poor to be rich. I pray for a renewal of minds, spirits, and souls. Lord, bring forth your spirit into our lives. Guide us in the way we need to go. Help us to put away this past year; and prepare for a new year of exciting times. Lord, where there is grief bring us joy. Lord, heal our land! Lord, take away the destitute. Give us an attitude of gratitude. Help us to not be entitled people; but people who are blessed by the Lord almighty.Lord, where there is a need for healing please bring that. Lord, where there is brokenness; please bring wholeness. Lord, there are so many trenches people are walking through these days. Help them to cast their cares on you; and learn to trust you and your timing. Help the new year be full of promises; and not of despair. Lord, give us your peace that passes all understanding. Your peace that makes all crooked places straight. Your peace that brings forth joy, love, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, self-control, and faithfulness.
