The hip hop beats were created using Novation Launchpad, to which I added a manually played "Playful Melody" synth, koto and guzheng stringed instruments, taiko drums, and Chinese percussion.
Combined with the Asian instruments, the hip hop sounded extra cool to me hence the title.
