Episode Synopsis "Current Events Term 3 Week 8 - Hurricane Dorian"

Hurricane Dorian was a massive category five hurricane that ripped through the Bahamas and Florida last week. To give you a scale, that’s 295km/h wind speeds. That’s three times as fast as you go on the motorway at! That rips trees out of the ground! Dorian then left 7,500 homeless and 2,500 either dead or missing. This was bigger than Hurricane Irma in 2017, because Irma was only a Category 4. With 285km/h winds. You can start to realise the damage that Dorian has done.
