From an early age, Daniel knew he was gay, and having navigated that identity growing up and as a creative, he shares with us what innate creativity means to him and why it is important to understand this as a creative, working in the creative industry so that you can be grounded as an individual and thrive in your career! (Recorded on February 11, 2022)About Daniel:Daniel Hurlin is a design director that has worked in luxury fashion labels for the last 10+ years. He specializes in visuals applied to products, and sees his work as visually curating the brand's narrative. In our current society, a lot of products first reach people in a visual media, so this aspect of design is now crucial for companies. His work has been on numerous runways, collaborations, and commercial collections. From Paris, London, Berlin to Antwerp, he has spent time refining and fine tuning his own work method, striking a balance between commerce and art, well-being and deadlines, and generally questioning industry practices.
