Readings for the Third Sunday of Advent: Isaiah 35:1-6a, 10;  Luke 11:2-11Our readings today invite us to look for God in places we don't expect - like dry deserts or unforeseen happenings.  John the Baptist couldn't understand what Jesus was doing - so much so that he began to doubt whether he was right to point to Jesus as the One to come.  But Jesus gently reminds John what the Kingdom of God is really about...and it doesn't look like John expected.  Those places within our lives or communities or world that we think are dead?  They have potential.  All they need are the right hands and the right conditions.  And they will bloom unexpectedly.Special thanks to Bridget Zenk for the intake and outtake music of this podcast.  Looking to contact me?  I can be reached at [email protected]  Thanks for listening!
