Chris Timmis is the School Superintendent of Dexter Community Schools.  He's a Superintendent hired to transform district into a Lighthouse School District - to lead the way in 21st century thinking and learning. Created international programming that includes 30+ students attending high school from 20 countries, tuition-based online programs for international students, international exchange programs, and higher education partnerships opening opportunities for Dexter kids and international students. 
Chris created a true cradle to career program serving children as young as 6-weeks old through career preparation thanks to the gratitude of a $3.1 building donated to the district. Through a $71.7 million bond project, built creative flexible learning spaces to support the implementation of personalized, competency-based learning for All Kids at DCS.
