The book club is back and kicking off 2024 in style--with an episode recorded in 2023. That's right, we're on top of things such as "Scheduling" over here. And we're kicking off the new year with something special! Instead of talking about "comic" "books" we are instead talking about an animated television show. A motion comic, if you will.This episode, we discuss 2023's Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, its take on the beloved source material, the return of the all-star cast from the live action movie, the animation, and everything in between. Also, Jean-Luc and Emily get excited about the multiple David Cronenberg references. It's a little lame but hopefully also endearing.
