The Lord chose Abraham, reckoned his faith as righteousness, and directed his steps to pursue The Lord and His direction. Looking through selected passages in Genesis, we can see Abraham listening to God's Authority and Sovereignty and Abraham living by God's Word. Abraham sinned in several instances in his encounters with the Egyptians and Philistines but the Lord was faithful to protect him through these situations. As Phil teaches part 1 of Romans 4:16-25, he will be teaching in Genesis 12:1-3, 7, Genesis 15: 4-6, 18, Genesis 17:1-6, Genesis 21:1-5. Phil will also review Romans 1-4 also to keep everyone updated on the Romans study.
