Episode Synopsis
Tony explains his journey with mental health and how when everything was removed from his life, he found away back to survive his mental health crisis and is now a mental health advocate, supporting those going through a journey with mental health concerns and fighting to improve their mental health outlook on life.
Getting diagnosed with IBD can be a relief in many cases and in some still be a huge shock, this can result in something know as 'adjustment disorder' or possible struggles with emotions and feelings of loneliness and or depression affecting our metal health. Living with IBD can require massive lifestyle adjustment.
Though there are actually many things we have in common whilst living our lives with IBD, there are still so many lessons we can learn from each other’s journey's be that living with Crohn's, Colitis or with an ostomy.
Our lives with IBD are stories of heroism and great magnitudes of self-reflection and realisations. In these episodes we are talking about our stories living with IBD and our struggles strife’s and blessings throughout this journey of living with IBD
