We are talking with Martin about his journey with IBD, life with an ostomy and his passion for fitness. Martin shares his struggles whilst on an elemental (liquid) diet and his 20 years of balancing medicines, surgeries and finally his ostomy to now as he rebuilds his body through his passion for fitness. Getting diagnosed with IBD can be a relief in many cases and in some still be a huge shock. Living with IBD can require massive lifestyle adjustment. Though there are actually many things we have in common whilst living our lives with IBD, there are still so many lessons we can learn from each other’s journey's be that living with Crohn's, Colitis or with an ostomy.
