Listen "Ep 678 - Indiana Football Talk with Mike Miller"
Episode Synopsis
Mike Miller of Crimson Quarry rejoins us on the podcast as we get ready for a big week of IU football talk. We start off by talking about our favorite Homefield Apparel shirts that we haven't bought yet, then we talk about college football at large and the problematic nature of the season so far in the COVID autumn. At about the 12:30 mark, we switch completely to IU football, and discuss several of the items that are on our minds heading into the first game of the season. We discuss the Nick Sheridan question, and weigh the pros and cons of a first-year offensive coordinator in the sea of sharks known as the Big Ten East. We talk about some of the key areas of the team, including the depth of the defense, the one position group that might be problematic, and the promise of the skill positions. We also chat about Tom Allen, IU football, and the audacity of hope, and why last year's results may (or may not) point to a breakout year for the team emotionally and mentally. We wrap things up with some specific talk about the IU-Penn State game, and give our early predictions.
