Listen "Creative License: Episode 2, Part 2 - Claudia Kate "
Episode Synopsis
This is part 2 of Lina's interview with South London-based singer-songwriter Claudia Kate. Claudia is an indie pop artist whose DIY sound is imbued with elements of spoken word, reminiscent of Baby Queen as well as Brit-nominated artist Self Esteem. Claudia artfully sets her sincere lyrics, underpinned with existential and political angst, to upbeat rhythms and vibrant melodies, promoting a sense of optimism at a time when we need it most. Claudia is passionate about helping people feel good about themselves, and about creating a community surrounding female empowerment through her music. She describes her music as “made in a bedroom, to be danced to in a bedroom”. Claudia has been consistently supported by BBC Introducing throughout her career, and recently made her Radio 1 debut with her single ‘Fizzy’. She just released her latest single, ‘Good God’, which is now available to listen to on all major streaming platforms, and her EP 'Going Places' is out on the 17th Feb!
