Listen "Sarah Koff"
Episode Synopsis
In this episode of Creative Guts, co-hosts Laura Harper Lake and Sarah Wrightsman sit down with Sarah Koff, a printmaker living and working in Exeter, New Hampshire. Sarah’s work — hand-carved and printed woodcuts and linocuts — features a heavy dose of nature, but she also makes custom work from block-printed house and pet portraits to logos. Sarah’s career as an artist has evolved over the years from a new mom and recent NH transplant selling handmade greeting cards at the farmer’s market to a full-blown artist. In response to her daughter’s fondness for koalas and the fires in Australian, Sarah raised $6118 in support of two organizations working on bushfire relief efforts selling adorable koala prints. As a mom, Sarah is always prepared to answer the “What’s your favorite color?” question, and thanks to her fake British dad, her British accent isn’t half bad! Listen to hear Sarah’s goals for 2020, and how sometimes the block really is more meaningful than the print. Check out Sarah’s work on the web at www.sarahkoffstudio.com, on Facebook www.facebook.com/SarahKoffStudio and on Instagram www.instagram.com/sarahkoffstudio.As always, come hang out with the Creative Guts team online at www.CreativeGutsPodcast.com and at www.Facebook.com/CreativeGutsPodcast and www.Instagram.com/CreativeGutsPodcast
