Listen "007 From exercise giver upper to Everest Base Camp with Ginny Gaunt"
Episode Synopsis
In this week's episode I am talking to Ginny Gaunt about how she went from being an exercise giver upper to finding the right form of exercise for her and signing up for the adventure of a lifetime along the way.We discuss how people quit exercise because they think the problem lies with them rather than the class or exercise not being suitable at the time. We also explore why it's important to find exercise that suits you, mindset, the impact of ADHD on exercise, Guinness Book of World Records and why she booked a trip to Everest Base Camp. Oh, and let's not forget the Crocs.About Ginny:Leader of the Anti-Hustle community, Ginny is an accountability and self-leadership coach, as well as a cleaning business owner and single mum to two boys. She left corporate London aged 25 (stereotypical ADHD difficulties in conforming in the workplace) and has been her own boss since.Ginny now has over 15 years in the service business sector specialising in ‘Lifestyle Businesses’ - aka businesses that worked around her brain and busy life and serving others needing the same. This included setting up an agency supplying ‘Lifestyle Assistants’.Ginny entered the online arena in 2021 looking for a new challenge and quickly identified two big culprits for failing and struggling online businesses, burnout and mindset. As running a small business can be straightforward, and most people trying to make it online are exactly that - a small business, Ginny identified that it is usually US who get in our own way, either through burnout or the wrong mindset. This led to the development of her community and her coaching business which focuses on self-love, self-awareness and self-leadership and she is a shining example of where the combination of these can take you as she is training for a trip to Everest Base Camp – in Crocs!About Sarah:Sarah Bolitho helps fitness and health professionals develop their careers and grow their businesses by providing specialist training in teaching, assessing, and internal quality assurance, together with qualifications in exercise referral and disability.
