She sits on the Shelby County Nonprofit Arts Committee and Shelby County Youth and Education Committee. She holds an Associate Degree in Business Information Systems, a Bachelor’s in Business Administration, and certifications in Trauma-Informed Coaching, Women’s Entrepreneurship, and Danger Assessment. Her honors include the Tri-State Defender Best in Black Author Award and WREG-News Channel 3 Memphis Community Changer Award. As Founder and Executive Director of the No More Silence Foundation (NMSF)—a 501(c)(3) since June 2018—she leads the P.E.C. Program (Prevention, Education, and Coping), empowering survivors ages toddlers to senior citizens and protecting children through arts-based healing.
