It’s so great to unplug. To get a change of scenery. To have a slower pace and just enjoy my family. And let’s be real, not do any laundry!   If I’m not traveling I’m not living. I love to travel!  We are blessed beyond measure to live in Hawaii. It is a magical place. Really. My happy place is the beach, without question.  Living in Hawaii is amazing. It is. But it’s not like we’re on vacation every day. It’s still real life.  We still have school and work and obligations and groceries and laundry and the rhythm of the days and nights that are real life.  Living in Hawaii isn’t a vacation every day is what I guess I’m trying to say.  We just get to do life in a place that has breathtaking beauty everywhere filled with the spirit of aloha.  So, we live in Hawaii and we recently traveled to one of the other islands for vacation.  It was much needed and a really fun time. We spent time on the beach making sand castles. We had lots of pool time, ate at fun restaurants, we had shave ice, read stories, saw waterfalls, explored a cave, drank coconut water from coconuts, and simply enjoyed each other.  If I’m not traveling I’m not living. I love experiencing new and different places.  I caught myself so many times thinking about the women I’ve worked with who also love travel.  High-Achieving Direct Sales Women Love To Travel! When I talk to high-achieving direct sales leaders about their personal goals the conversation almost always includes travel.  You all love to travel!  This desire for travel is much more than the incentive trips you’ve been on and worked so hard for. It’s about much more than the incentive trips you’re maybe currently working to earn right now or the ones coming up.  Those are always in your business goals. And there’s nothing like the energy and experience you have on those trips. I know. I’ve felt it too. You come back so energized with a fresh new perspective and excitement for what you do.  Direct Sales Leaders Personal Goals To Travel More Yet when I talk with leaders about their personal goals these goals almost always include travel and travel with your family. Showing your kids the world. Having them experience places and people and create lifelong memories together.  I believe this is something in common with women who are ambitious, need a creative outlet, have a spirit of adventure, love to have fun, are driven, and enjoy working hard to earn these experiences.  Direct Sales Leaders Love To Travel More The fact that you can fund all or some of these personal trips as a result of your business success is a big part of the desire to travel. It’s rewarding and fulfilling in just a different way.
