Welcome to episode 77! Today I’m giving you my key strategies to maximize results when you’re halfway to a goal! Your own goal, a goal your team has, or a goal anyone on your team may have. Any goal. This halfway point is a milestone that is often overlooked. It holds significant opportunities for future results.  This milestone is an easy way to bring people together, celebrate, re-group, or even re-direct if needed.  You can find the full transcript at crazybigdreams.biz/77.  My first question to you is does your team have a goal? Does your team know what you’re leading them toward? If not, you’re missing out on connecting with all the people that are driven by being a part of something bigger than themselves. Tune into episode 78 to hear all about maximizing the opportunities around team goals.  For now, let’s talk about the halfway point to goals. If you’re not already taking advantage of this milestone, you’re not alone. I’m here to give you the strategies and ideas to start.  All this is trusting that you have a measurable goal and you’re tracking it so that you know when you’re at the halfway point and what that looks like. If you don’t have a goal you can track you don’t know where you’re going or when you’ll accomplish it.  Five Strategies To Make The Most Of Your Direct Sales Business Goals Strategy number one: Give this milestone of being halfway to a goal a name.  Whether you call it the halftime show, the halfway point, over the hump, or anything else that speaks to you, it helps to give it a name. You’re declaring this is important, you’ve made accomplishments, and there’s more to come.  Strategy number two: Celebrate! Acknowledge the success and all of the accomplishments you’ve achieved at this halfway point, by celebrating. Any way that feels celebratory to you.  Start by making a list of all the measurable accomplishments. These are things you’ve been tracking. New business partners. Volume. Groups started. Anything you have been measuring.  If you’ve been measuring behaviors, this is the time to write these down as well. Take stock of all you’ve done.  Typically, most leaders will think of new ways that can be measuring activity or behaviors they haven’t been up to this point. Great! Start tracking as you work toward the second half in route to reaching your goal.  Listing what you’ve done so far is powerful because it helps you feel accomplished. It helps you see that you have what it takes because you’ve done it. You’re doing it. This strategy gives motivation and real examples that communicate you-can-see-this-through.  Once you have your list of accomplishments, celebrate. Any way that comes to mind. Do not skip over this part! Too often, especially as leaders, we don’t take the opportunity to celebrate our own accomplishments.  This has much more to do with staying the course and growing your business over time than it does in the immediate time frame as you celebrate this one halfway point.
