Twist & Writhe began with guitarists Ben Vardjan and Alex Slagle who had a desire to create a band that encapsulated all of its member’s musical influences; no boundaries, no rules. Bassist Jay Stillman and drummer Leighton McCleaf provided the necessary chemistry instrumentally. When vocalist Arthur Nusser joined the group, the vision was complete. The group has been making passionate melodic hooks ever since.
