In ep. 149 we look at MYTH in the modern world. We examine how the DEATH OF MYTH is affecting modern culture in a negative way. This lack of MYTH has contributed to DESPAIR, DEPRESSION, and MEANINGLESSNESS felt by many people today. We look at the role of SCIENCE and CONSUMERISM in daily life. We discuss Neitzsche's concept of the "death of God" as well as JUNG's ideas about the lack of MYTH in the modern world and how we can RESURRECT MYTH and RELIGION in our own lives.
