I’m excited to share my latest cover song and music video—"Thank U" by Alanis Morissette—a tribute to one of the most powerful, and transformative songs she has ever written. This song has carried me through some of the hardest moments of my life, reminding me to embrace gratitude even in the toughest times. Alanis’ artistry has always been a guiding light. I wanted to honor that by attempting a shot-by-shot recreation of her original video… except I live in Tennessee and decided against walking around Downtown Kingsport naked. 🤣 (You're welcome, city officials.) This was a labor of love. I performed and recorded it using all-vocal instrumentation, filmed it, and edited it entirely myself. I hope it captures the raw vulnerability and beauty that this song inspires. I hope it moves you the way it has moved me over the years.
