Amanda is the current newsreader for Newshub's The AM Show programme and is based in New Zealand. She is a senior, multi award-winning journalist and has been with TV3 since 2001, formerly Australia and Pacific Islands Correspondent and working across Newshub, 3News, Campbell Live, Story, 3rd Degree, 60 Minutes and Nightline.
During her stint in Australia, she won the Qantas Award for Best News Reporter for her work on the Victoria Bush Fires. She won the TP McLean Sports Award for Best Feature in 2013. She was also a named a Qantas Best News reporter finalist in 2007 and 2012 and a TP McLean Sports Award finalist in 2012 and 2016.
