In this episode, my dad and I touch on his childhood - a past he rarely revisits.  What stands out most isn't what he shares about those early years, but what he chose to leave behind.  Out of a difficult beginning, he made conscious decisions about the kind of husband, father, and family he wanted to build. His life, in many ways, began when he met my mom, and from there he created a home filled with love, stability, and connection. I'm deeply grateful for the family he shaped, and this conversation is a reminder of the power in choosing what to carry forward - and what to let go. Support the show
