From LGBTQIA to she/her/hers, the language, descriptions, and ideological frameworks are ever-evolving. Gender identity is separate from gender expression. And these categories are also separate from sexual orientation. I self-identify as a cisgender woman whose sexual orientation affirms my attraction to men. What does all this mean?  And how do you use the word "they" when referencing a single person??It's Pride Month, June 2024, and we will deep dive into the LGBTQ community using the words that matter most to them (plural!).  Use the handy references below to further research topics that have systematically changed over the last 25 years.Embark on a journey of self-discovery, where you can explore your own gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation.
