In today's episode, Jason talks with Sean Russell, International Associate Director of Youth Engagement and Partnerships of EarthEcho. Sean has been working in conservation for most of his life, including managing the EarthEcho Water Challenge and the Youth Ocean Conservation Summit. Jason and Sean converse a wide range of conservation topics while focusing on the need of empowering today's youth through a conservation mission. Discussion topics include EarthEcho's mission, programs designed for youth, why young people care about conservation causes, and catastrophes causing renewed action. Sean also describes his work to empower young people with the knowledge, tools, and funds to launch solutions-oriented ocean conservation projects.
