Episode Synopsis
In today's episode, Jason talks with Anthony Pignatelli. Anthony is a returning guest and Senior at Kent State University, studying Environmental and Conservation Biology. After a quick update on his future educational endeavors, Anthony explains how a cartography course he is taking is revolutionizing conservation work. The basic skills he is learning can be used by everyday people to break down areal images and the advanced map making skills he is learning can be used to as a visual indicator of changing landscapes. He fills us in on how the use of technology, specifically areal imaging, can enable a conservation biologist to complete studies remotely.
