This episode highlights the story of Helena Rico, a Spanish student at North Carolina State University who studied in Spain and in South Korea before moving to the US to pursue an MA in International Studies. Helena shares with us her story of spending close to a year in South Korea, the lessons she learned from her journey abroad, and what it was like to transition to the US. Additionally, we learn more about her Spanish background and how it played a role in her transition to South Korea and, ultimately, the United States.
