Chris highlighted the recent fashion show fundraiser, which drew nearly 300 attendees and support from local businesses like Nancy Pants and Summit Huts, raising vital funds for VAS programs.Valley Assistance Services blends social services and community health, offering emergency rental and utility assistance, SNAP application help, workforce development, transportation, friendly visits, and various support groups. Chris noted that many new residents and those facing need for the first time are often surprised by the range of resources available.A major upcoming event is Guac & Give, happening Friday, September 12th, from 2–5 PM at the Tubac Golf Resort & Spa. The event will feature 12–15 restaurants serving guacamole and salsa, along with local vendors. Advance tickets are $20 at several Green Valley and Tubac locations.
