The Gospel of John was written so that we may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing we may have life in his name. In the most famous verse of all, John 3.16, we are told that God sent Jesus and that by believing we will have eternal life. What does it mean to believe? We will wrestle with this question as it informs how we live and follow Jesus today. Today we continue our conversation in the gospel of John.
