Luke recorded everything that Jesus began to do in Luke and Acts. But if he began his work then, it is continued after that! Jesus continues to speak, to move, and to make all things new as he works through his church in the present day! He wasn’t finished speaking when he ascended to heaven. Since he wasn’t finished speaking, Pastor Mark reminds us that he is still speaking to you today! He works through his Spirit to move the church forward. He works through his Spirit to move you forward and to make you more like himself. However you feel today, you are not alone as you pursue the holiness of God.
