I often think of the 'point' of something as singular and efficient. Learning to ask about purpose acknowledges the vast expanse of things, and is a helpful tool in evaluating heart posture; a practical way to soften when you're tempted to be critical. In every season there is a network of reasons, and it spreads like nerves and roots. Ecclesiastes 8:17 "...then I saw all the work of God, that man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun. However much man may toil in seeking, he will not find it out. Even though a wise man claims to know, he cannot find it out." ~ Patient endurance is what we need now. Take heart. ~
