Listen "The Campaign"
Episode Synopsis
The Campaign Dan and I come from different political backgrounds—he's a liberal, and I'm a conservative—yet we were able to have a civil and meaningful conversation. He is open and eager to share his beliefs, which makes for engaging discussion. Dan previously ran for office but did not win; however, that loss has only fueled his determination to try again. While he has not yet decided which race to enter, there are three open seats in Missouri. He faces a tough challenge, as he resides in the reddest district within a state that is already predominantly conservative. This will make his campaign more difficult, but he remains committed to the issues he believes in. Dan is well-informed about the challenges facing both Missouri and his county. With the backing of the Party, he has a strong foundation of support. His platform includes concerns about the state's direction, particularly in areas such as education, reproductive rights, and other key issues.
