I played small
I’ve always played small. I’ve always second guessed myself and my abilities. I talked about not looking to the left and to the right of you but I ALWAYS did. I compared myself to others. I was envious and I played small.
I’d be the person standing in the back of a room because I was afraid of being seen. Now, when it was time or unavoidable that I would be seen, I’d step into my Sasha Fierce version of Beyonce and get the job done. I would mostly shrink.
