Listen "What do you do with new learnings?"
Episode Synopsis
Good Morning and Welcome to Radiate Positivity.
Today I want to talk through with you a concept that I learned a while back, and it's this concept of being a river flowing of information instead of a stagnant pond. Not really giving out information, just hoarding it all to yourself. And so what do you need to know about this? So what do you need to know about this? So there's two different ways of thinking about when we get information. So one, we can hold it, we don't have to share it. We can basically just keep it for ourselves and then move on or two, we can be a river and we can flow that information out to others, which ultimately can help us crystallize and help us get better. So why do you need to know this? So this is important for many reasons, but you know, if you're one that inspires to grow or to help others grow while in being a stagnant pond is the exact opposite way that you need to do that and being a river as you get information in, it flows through you out into someone else colleagues, friends, family, anything like that to help them get better.
And so that's one of the key reasons why you know, why this is important. And so what you need to do to do this is basically have a system. So maybe it's when I learned about these specific things or when I learned something that makes me go, Oh my goodness, that is game-changing or that's an aha that created an aha for me. Well, having a system in place to then say, okay, that's what I learned. Here's how I'm going to share it can be very, very important. And so one way to just help you remember, this is two ways we go back to it, stagnant pond river. Why is it important? Well for stagnant pond, we don't share anything. We hold it all to ourselves and we go on about life. If we're river, we can share what we've learned, help crystallize it for us, but then also give it to others so that they can help grow or that we can help them grow as well. And so I just wanted to encourage you to look at that concept of the stagnant pond versus the river of flowing information. How can that affect you in your life? How can it affect the other people around you? And I just wanted to encourage you to look at that in your life. So go out and radiate positivity, have an awesome day and we'll talk soon.
